I never realized how shit iPhone 5's front camera is compared to the other until seeing this picture above on my laptop.
No prizes for figuring out what other pictures on this post has been taken with the front camera.

Mothers' Day lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant: The Orange Lantern. Was an interesting experience and that was the day I learned that Vietnamese cuisine and I don't go together. As much as I want to enjoy it, I can't seem to. It felt as though there weren't enough flavour to it. I don't think it's the restaurant's poor skills but just how Vietnamese cuisine is supposed to be like. I can tell the dishes were really healthy though. Which is why I felt good about myself after.

Desserts at I Am cafe. A really pretty rainbow cake but I didn't think it was all that great. Didn't get the hype because it tasted like a regular cake with the usual icing? I've tried the crepe cake as well. It was okay. The brunch menu looks like it's worth a try. So, I will be back. ;) Coming to the end of our visit to I Am cafe, they gave mama a stalk of tulip with a little note on it which comes with a 10% off voucher for our next visit in celebration with Mothers' Day. How thoughtful! On a different note, my mama has pretty nice hands because I look like I have a bunch of over-boiled sausages for fingers and being dark-skinned doesn't help at all.
