Lantau Island, Hong Kong

I felt so much closer to Running Man after visiting Lantau Island. Having seen what the cast have seen. Stepping on stones the cast have stepped on. No, really. Lantau was beautiful. It's nothing like what I've seen in all my 19 years. Yes, it's mostly just trees, hills, mountains and more tress but the fact that I'm in an entirely different country 2590 kilometres away from home felt weird. I haven't been out of the country where I'm required to travel by plane in awhile. I don't know how to explain the feelings I felt but maybe it's just the little traveller in me getting all excited seeing new things.

The cable car ride gave a remarkable bird's eye view of its surroundings. I was in awe. The ride wasn't the slightest bit terrifying. Not to me at least. Even when it stopped in mid air because of a system fault or when there were strong winds for a couple of minutes which caused our car to sway quite strongly. Not trying to brag about how fearless I am, though maybe a little, but because those things gave me adrenaline and got me really excited. Those moments, made me feel like everything is alright. Like as though adulthood is still a long way to go, as though turning 20 and still haven't figured anything out yet is nothing to worry about because at that moment nothing else seemed to matter.

These pictures don't do justice at all. It doesn't give you the excitement I felt and I wish you guys would be able to experience this like I did if you haven't. And if you're viewing this through a mobile device, which most of you probably are, sucks for you.
